Budding Artists at the Westerville Library

The Budding Artist program at the Westerville Public Library is a must-do for young ones, ages 4-6. It is actually timed perfectly for those who no longer take naps {you know who you are…} and leaves plenty of time to pick up elementary school kids.

The next program is scheduled for 2/19 and you MUST register online.

Here’s a preview of what you can expect based on today.

Using water color and Saran Wrap, we made these beauties. Simply paint the entire piece of paper with water colors and then crinkle the Saran Wrap over the paper and let dry. Once dry, remove the Saran Wrap and you are left with a beautiful work of art.

Next, this fan favorite takes just paper, paint and a rolling pin. Simply place little paint blobs, lines, or anything and then fold the paper in half and roll over it with a rolling pin. Open it to reveal a fun surprise art that will create fun pictures to identify with your little ones 🙂

And lastly, who can’t resist stamps?!? My little minion even took to making her fingerprints into flowers!

Each session teaches something new. February’s theme is “collage.” Click here to register now to reserve your space!  February 19’s session is open now!

Hope to see you there!!!
