A Favorite Quick & Healthy Snack

There are, of course, several quick and healthy snacks from which to choose. From apples & bananas to yogurt & zucchini. You literally have an alphabet of food that you can eat.

One thing that has held true with our girls {not so much our little picky man} is something so simple & healthy {not to mention, inexpensive!}, I am very glad a friend clued us in on this. Frozen vegetables.

Honestly, this is considered a TREAT in our house!

There is something about it being frozen that gives it a treat appeal. Get a bowl full of frozen peas, my girls are happy! Frozen green beans, even better! Frozen broccoli, oh my!

This treat helps offer a quick side dish for lunch as well as a cool snack on a hot day.
