I am pretty diligent about planning the kids activities so we rarely have downtime. {Check out my planning power page for some tips.} That said, every now and then, you need some inspiration. Here is a wealth of resources that have truly helped me in teaching our minions. All these sites have items for various ages:
- Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas – Amazing themed activities for older and younger minions;
- Preschool Mom – great themes within from the basic ABC & 123 to focused themes like Earth Day and American Sign Language.
- 3 Dinosaurs – I’m slightly obsessed with the free activity packs;
- Toddler Approved – Solid learning lessons for the minions;
- Gift of Curiosity – Great learning packs and games for children;
- Kids Activity Blog – Fun games and life hacks;
- Happy Hooligans – Creative ideas for little minds;
- Meaningful Mama – I love the way she incorporate virtues into her teaching; and
- MetroParks – OK, this is local for us, but at times, I base my themes around their programs.
